The Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scouts of America honored community members whose actions and beliefs reflect that of the Girl Scouts. Values including confidence, courage, and character that inspires a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and service at the inaugural Badge Bash Friday night.
Caliente Construction’s very own President/ CEO, Lorraine Bergman, displays these values daily and was selected as this year’s honorary for the Woman of Courage Award. This honor goes to a woman who is a champion for issues that have a far-reaching impact on our communities; her courage and leadership inspires everyone to stand up for a better world.
The fun-filled night of activities through the eyes of a girl scout tested attendee’s skills to earn badges with their “troops” of friends & colleagues to show how Girl Scout participation shapes young women into future innovators, advocates, and leaders in the community.
The event was a great success for the Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, raising over $20k dollars for the Campaign for Girls in Arizona. The campaign will continue until they reach their $18 million goal and all donations up to $1.6M will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the generous Bob & Renee Parson’s Foundation until December 31st.
