Caliente recently completed phase 1 of The Higley Barn. This project is an adaptive reuse of the historic Potato Barn in Gilbert, which once housed the area’s potato supply. The project consisted of renovating the 19,200 SF metal warehouse into a 9,200 SF showroom and sales area for Arizona Central Supply. The remaining 10,000 sf in the original building was built out to grey shell and will be marketed to a curated group of potential restaurant and retail clients. During the first phase, Caliente also constructed a 6,000 SF pre-engineered metal building warehouse. The 4-acre site was redeveloped and included new underground utilities, landscaping, paved parking and driveways, and covered canopy areas.
