Caliente is at it again for their 26th year supporting the lifesaving programs of the American Cancer Society, participating in the Climb to Conquer Cancer. The 35th Annual Climb will be a 5.5-mile hike up South Mountain in Phoenix with an elevation gain over 1,100 feet above the Valley of the Sun. In the early morning hours, Saturday, February 24th we will be celebrating those who are survivors of cancer and remembering those who have lost the battle to cancer with a commemorative activity every mile.
Caliente’s pack will be led by past Chair of CEO’s Against Cancer, Lorraine Bergman, who climbs every year in remembrance of her late husband and Caliente founder, Tom Bergman.
Collecting over $18,000 in past years, Caliente has their eyes set on raising more than $20,000 this year. We could never come up with that much without the support of awesome companies like Graphic Ideals in Tempe who donated our signs to us, subcontractors (Jessco Electric), clients, friends, family and fellow community members.
