In 2010, Caliente had the honor of constructing Sojourner Center, the largest domestic violence center in the United States. This year, Caliente Construction is proud to support Sojourner Center for their Angel Project. Over the course of two days, Caliente’s staff served a total of 23.5 hours and made $982.00 in donations. Sojourner Center is a domestic violence service organization, providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, domestic violence education, safety planning, lay-legal advocacy, case management, a child development center, 24-hour crisis hotline, referral services, community education and healthcare to more than 10,000 people across the greater Phoenix area each year.
