Caliente held its 8th annual Health Fair on Friday, January 11, 2019. Caliente kicks off each New Year with a Health Fair as part of their Wellness Program. The Wellness Program encourages employees to live a balanced and healthy life by offering educational and fitness opportunities throughout the year.
The Wellness Program includes a point-based program which keeps healthcare costs down, encourages a healthy lifestyle and enables employees to earn Bonus Bucks that can be used to purchase gift cards, fitness trackers, and more.
The Health Fair is organized by Caliente’s CREW (Caliente Rewards Wellness). This year’s Fair included 19 vendors offering great advice on lifestyle, safety and financial health. We also had two massage therapists providing awesome chair massages. The vendors donated some amazing raffle prizes including a $500 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card and men’s and women’s beach cruiser bikes.
The Health Fair also kicks off Caliente’s year of giving back. We held a blood donation drive in conjunction with The United Services Blood Mobile. The American Cancer Society was here to sign up our team for the 2019 Climb to Conquer Cancer, an event Caliente has participated in for over 25 years.
