MCCCD – GCC VETERAN SERVICES CENTER

Delivery Process: Construction Manager at Risk

Total Square Footage: 2,500 SF

Full gut and renovation of an existing 1600 SF building on the Glendale Community College campus. Construction of new 2500 SF addition. All new fixtures and finishes. New LED lighting package, new underground plumbing, new mechanical and building controls new electrical service to distribution panel, high efficiency glazing.

Work also included major drainage improvements: added a drywell and several trench drains.

SOLTERRA ASSISTED LIVING DEER VALLEY

Delivery Process: Construction Manager at Risk

Total Square Footage: 95,415 SF

Interior and exterior renovation, demolition, and conversion of a former hotel into a new senior assisted living development with 150 studio units and 16 one-bedroom units and will provide a full-service restaurant, bistro, theater room, fitness center, laundry rooms/service, library & business center, a secured center courtyard with lush landscaping, putting green, and shaded seating areas.
The interior has been completely renovated with all new windows, doors, flooring, additional activity areas, fresh paint and carpet.

Starbucks – Tucson

Delivery Process: Tenant Improvement

Total Square Footage: 2,042 SF

Renovation of 2,042 SF including a gray space within the existing store. Scope of work included demolition, concrete slab on grade, framing drywall, millwork, glass door systems, plumbing electrical and mechanical, special finishes and FFE furnishing. Timeline was 14 days and was completed on scheduled with zero punch list.

BUILDING 313

Delivery Process: Tenant Improvement

Total Square Footage: 15,602 SF

Full gut and renovation of an existing 15,602 SF mixed-use 3-story project will house a 4,600 SF space for TicketForce; a 4,300 SF restaurant concept (Brass Tap) with a 775 SF patio facing Gilbert Road; a 2,600 SF co-working space for women named Thrive; and a 1,500 SF rooftop bar with a west-facing patio.

HELIO BASIN BREWING CO.

Delivery Process: Tenant Improvement

Total Square Footage: 8,400 SF

8400 SF tenant improvement of vacant billiard bar including demolition of the previous space to make room for newly built brew room, mill room, commercial grade kitchen with walk-in cooler and full-service restaurant.

Build out also has a complete upgrade of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, plus refacing the front of the building with full glass high-bay panel doors.

CHASE FIELD STADIUM

Delivery Process: Construction Manager at Risk

Awards: 2017 ICRI Project of The Year Award – Special Projects

Primary project scope included, removal and replacement of damaged concrete, sandblasting and repairing/replacement of structural members, epoxy injection at structural cracks, removal and replacement of expansion and control joints, handrail and guard rail repairs, preparation and installation of elastomeric coatings at seating areas.
Accompanying scope included the installation of scaffolding, and removal and replacement of architectural finishes, mechanical systems, and electrical systems as required to access primary scope.
Portions of the work were performed in secure, occupied and confined spaces which required special planning and added to the complexity of the project. Safety corridors were erected where access by stadium personnel was essential, and dust barriers and ventilation systems were set in place to minimize impact to staff and surrounding spaces.

PROJECT Q – BARNONE

Delivery Process: Construction Manager at Risk

Total Square Footage: 29,130 SF + 28,960 SF

Phase one was a brand new two-story masonry training building for the Chandler Fire and Police Department training programs. Construction of the training building included an auditorium, lobby, elevator, classrooms, fitness room, defensive tactics room, simulation rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, break room, offices, IT spaces, and three training prop buildings. Site work includes site excavation, drainage/retention, paving/parking, lighting, security fencing and gates, landscape and irrigation, wet and dry utility extensions and services (including five dry wells), sidewalks, signage, and roadway modifications for a left turn lane. A pedestrian bridge was constructed over the retention area and a permanent 750KW backup generator installed. Phase II included new construction of a 19,960 SF pre-cast firing range training building with six drive-through apparatus bays and a 19,000 SF pre-engineered metal multi-purpose building. The multi-purpose building features a Fire Department classroom, lockers and showers, equipment storage, and shop spaces for Fire staff and recruits. These two buildings were constructed directly behind the main building built in Phase one.
