Design-Assist and Construction Manager for the build out of a new 5,000 SF raised floor data center and infrastructure support and equipment. This was conducted in an occupied, fully operational 152,752 SF, 4-story building with basement and equipment penthouse.
The project consisted of interior demolition and remodel of tenant build-out of approximately 7,500 square feet of raised floor data center and electrical room. All mechanical, electrical, fire detection and suppression system necessary for the full data center function were include. The second phase of the project included infrastructure and installation of 2 emergency generators.
Caliente has completed multiple projects in this 24x7x365 facility which is used for processing DNA evidence storage and houses a morgue. Depicted here is a project which consisted of mechanical and electrical modifications which comprised of installation of a 1250KW exterior generator and removal and replacement of the existing cooling tower and chiller.
The project consisted of replacing the service entry section in on of the Central Offices of this telecom client. The facility routes tens of thousands of telephone calls to the next destination.
Replacement of a 500-ton chiller with a new high-efficiency 750-ton chiller. Refurbish and upgrade 2 cooling towers and replacement of 2 cooling towers. Install all related piping, power and controls.
This project consisted of building out 10,000 SF on the second floor of a data center and included co-location for multiple national and international clients whose operations are housed in the center.
Furnish and install all new smoke control system and new load shed system components, including ductwork, wiring, controls, for the 1st & 3rd floors of the facility.
